After visitng his uncle in 1999 $cooby fell in love with the rap game immediately. After purchasing
a boss 4-track recorder, $cooby was eager to return home to Charlotte, North Carolina and start doing some recording on his
own. Transforming his place of rest to a home studio $cooby started spitting rhymes on industry beats with neighborhood freinds
he were close to. Promoting songs at school and getting positive feedback $cooby decided to turn it up a notch forming the
Hook Fam. Learning more tricks and trades of the rap game from Bad News (Gutta Boy Entertainment) $coob threw away the 4-track
he purchased and upgraded, now he was in business. After releasing the underground LP 'We Got Yall Hooked' in 2002 the buzz
in the streets couldn't have been better. Battling opposing rap groups for the number 1 spot, and performing at clubs $cooby
was determined to let no one stand in his way. Known for being in charge of 1 of the hottest rap groups that ever walked the
halls of E.E. Wadell High School, $coob entered the group in a talent show selling out the house. Weeks after the show opinions
begin to differ and flames sparked between $coob and A-Town splitting the group apart. After the conflict, $coob recorded
his first solo song that hit the streets with a bang in 2004, so he decided to pursue a solo career. Meeting and conversating
with famous stars like Master P, Irv Gotti, Noreaga and many more, $cooby grinded harder and headed back in the lab to start
on his next C.D. 'Da Ville-Boi'. With enough songs recorded and more to be finished, in 2005 $coob and his best freind cheek
agreed to start their own business together called Ville-Boi Productionz. Summer of 2006: $howtyme D@ Mixt@pe first cd to
be released under Ville-Boi Productionz featuring guest appearances by Young S-Dub, Rickey G from Dollar Squad, Bad News From
Gutta Boy Entertainment, and many more. Droppin on yo block soon.
